The reality? Most of us didn’t have great experiences with our own sex ed. Whether you just received a book on your pillow about the birds and the bees or had an in-depth conversation in school that was filled with fear + awkwardness— we all deserved better. Now you get to do better!
And you don’t have to do it alone.
We’ll replace absolute panic with confidence, resources, and some sex ed know-how. Because you and your young folks deserve better than the talks we got.
Because shame-free parenting means cultivating an environment where sexuality can be discussed openly with curiosity and without shame. This workshop will support you in the “how.”
Participants* will:
Learn skills and approaches to discussing sexuality with their young folks in developmentally appropriate + supportive ways
Identify their personal family values regarding sexuality, as well as ways to communicate those hopes and values effectively
Gain access to a wealth of youth-focused resources to turn to regarding sexuality, gender, intimacy, and relationships so you don’t have to have all the answers yourself!
Receive a digital workbook filled with prompts and planning documents to support you in discovering how you hope to show up in these conversations, and what support you need to do that.
